Troubleshooting

The plugin won’t activate

This is usually a PHP version issue. Go to Tools → Site Health and check your PHP version. PB Gig Diary requires PHP 8.1 or above. Contact your host if you need to upgrade.

I see a database error after activation

PB Gig Diary creates several custom database tables on activation. If your database user doesn’t have CREATE TABLE permission, this will fail. Check with your host that your WordPress database user has full privileges.

Gig Diary doesn’t appear in the admin sidebar

Make sure the plugin is activated — go to Plugins and check its status. If it’s active but not showing, try deactivating and reactivating it.
